Stephen Gammell
You
may remember his images from the classic children's book series, "Scary
Stories to Tell in the Dark." The series was a childhood favorite of
mine, and I remember the creepy scaring feeling that would come over me
every time I read it. I also remember reading it out loud to my siblings
and friends and jumping out at them or screaming at all the appropriate
spots. Good times. But I think what really set the tone for these books
was the artwork. So here's to you Stephan Gammell. Thanks for the
chills.
